Owners and customers of one the biggest Pharmaceutical stores in Ile-Ife, that was brought down by an improvised explosive device, have continued to count their losses.
The Saturday night explosion which also touched surrounding buildings caused palpable fear in the ancient town.
Correspondent Rafiu Hammed reports that the owner of affected pharmaceutical stores was reported to have died last year and the children have since been managing the business.
The storey building collapsed after an explosion occurred around 10 pm on Saturday. The remaining part of the building is also a disaster waiting to happen.
Though, the police later came to cordon off the scene, the State Commissioner of Police, Fimihan Adeoye told TVC on phone that officers of the Explosive Ordinance Unit working to unravel the mystery behind the disaster.
The building is said to have been built 7 years ago
