Nigeria Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbanjo as assured that the Lagos/Ibadan express way will soon begin work. He also assured that the federal government will give attention to the Oyo - Ogbomosho road.
He made this statement during the visit to the Soun of Ogbomosho Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade 111.
According to the Vice President, despite paucity of funds, the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration had executed numerous lofty programmes and projects, such as TraderMoni, Home Grown School Feeding Programme, N-Power, MarkerMoni, rehabilitation and construction of many roads, construction of railways, among others.
He also that, the number of beneficiaries of Home Grown Feeding Programme would be increased from 9.2 million children to 12 million, while 500,000 beneficiaries of N-Power would be leap-frogged to 1.5 million.
Osinbajo, who described the Soun as his father, apart from being a royal father, said the monarch has vision for the development of Yoruba land.
