Former Senate Leader, Teslim Folarin returns to Senate wins Oyo Central senatorial District ticket.
The former Senate leader, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has emerged the winner of Oyo central senatorial district election
Prof Idowu Peter Farai from University of Ibadan who is the returning officer of Oyo central senatorial district announced that Senator Folarin of APC polled 91,080 votes to defeat his closest rival of PDP chief Bisi Ilaka who got 83600 while Senator Monsurat Sunmonu of ADC and Hon Temitope Olatoye received 41657 and 41,377 respectively.
The results was announced amid heavy security with major political party agents, APC, PDP, ADC and ADP witnessed and signed the results.
