The ECA has estimated a $66 billion per annum financing gap for healthcare in Africa. The public sector alone cannot cover this.
There is a need for smart partnerships with the private sector and for their investments in pharmaceuticals, logistics, supply chain management, capacity support, technology, innovation, and other areas.
