The Adamawa governorship election has been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission while a new date is to be announced.
The Returning Officer, Prof. Andrew Haruna, made this known at the governorship election collation centre in Yola on Monday morning.
According to him, the number of cancelled votes were higher against the margin of leading votes between the two main contestants and therefore, a new date for another election would be fixed.
Haruna also disclosed that about 44 polling units were affected across the state.
