The Nigerian Army has a big victory against the Boko Haram as they killed 27 members of the sect and recovered arms and ammunition during the encounter.
There was a lot of arms and amunition revovered during the joint operation attack on Boko Haram by the members of the Nigerian Army (LAFIA DOLE) and Chadian Defence Force on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
The operation, which was jointly carried out by troops of Section 1, Lafia Dole with Chadian Defence Forces on Saturday, April 13, 2019, had members of the deadly sect decimated and overpowered in four villages: Wulgo, Tumbuma, Chikun Gudu, and Bukar Maryam villages, Army Twitted.
Sagir Musa, the acting director, Army Public Relations, revealed that there were no casualties on the part of the Nigerian and Chadian forces.
Musa who is a Colonel also stated that “Coordinated military operation is ongoing especially in the fringes of Gombaru-Ngala and some surrounding areas to deal with the fleeing bandits running out from multinational Joint Task Force (Op YANCIN TAFKI) onslaught on their hideouts.
