IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to claims made by Festus Keyamo, partaining his view that WAEC certificate is not needed to become President or Governor.
It was reported earlier that the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council who appeared in a Channels TV show, claimed that if you have occupied the public office for a reasonable length of time, you do not need a WAEC certificate to become president of Nigeria.
However Nnamdi Kanu, described Nigeria law as a ‘joke’.
He tweeted;
“It is worrying when supposed senior judges and lawyers, including Senior Advocates, don’t know their School Certificate from their First School Leaving Certificate.“Law in Nigeria is a joke! No School Certificate (WAEC) no presidency, Period!”
