A 30-year-old woman, Identified as Hassatu Isah,has been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command for plotting to poison a man after defrauding him of N1.9m.
According to Sanusi Buba,the Katsina State Police Commissioner, while describing the issue described her as a ritualist and a kidnapper. It was the police who reveal that they had allegedly defraud him of N1.9m.
The CP said,
“But nemesis caught up with her, when she could not deliver the spiritual charms to the victim, who demanded a refund. She then planned to kill him by hiring a killer, one Babangida Dalha, 30 years, of Jibia, whom she contracted with N50,000 for the job.
“In the course of investigation, the suspects were arrested and they confessed to have administered poison with intent to kill the victim which failed.”
Isah told Northern City News that Haruna engaged her to prepare charms that could make him invisible at will, but the victim denied that the money was for preparation of the charms. I gave her the money for purchase of land after she treated my wife’s illness,” Haruna claimed.
Hassatu and her companions would be prosecuted according to the police.
